In this episode, we dive deep into the current state of our potato cellars, giving you an update on how the storage process is progressing. With the harvest in full swing, managing the cellar is a race against time as we work to clear out last year’s potatoes before this year’s crop starts rolling in. You’ll get a behindthescenes look at the hustle and strategy it takes to manage millions of pounds of spuds!

Next, we head out to the field, where we attempt to fix one of the more unexpected issues—replacing the flagpole on our potato harvester after breaking the last one. Although we put up a new one, it didn’t last long either (such is life on the farm!). These little challenges are all part of the job, and we’ll walk you through what it takes to keep everything running smoothly.

We also take a tour of one of our potato cellars where the crew is busy removing last year’s potatoes, making room for the current harvest. Timing is everything, and we’re pushing to get the cellars cleared out in time before the new crop arrives. You’ll see firsthand how critical this process is and just how much effort goes into preparing for the influx of fresh potatoes.
