Learn how to make a simple wire chain for your jewelry designs with this easy tutorial. Perfect for beginners, this stepbystep guide will show you how to create your own beautiful chain for your DIY jewelry projects.

It's a super easy design, and so versatile.

Materials you will need:

1mm (18g) copper wire
6 step pliers
Flush cutters
Chain nose pliers
Ruler

For this tutorial, I demonstrate two sizes of link. Wire length for the longer link is 4cm. Wire length of the shorter link is 3.5cm. Feel free to experiment with your sizes.
