In this video, we'll take a look at a portion of the Wisconsin and Southern's line from Madison to Prairie Du Chien WI. We start off just outside of Avoca, and chase it all the way to Boscobel. The line is mostly 25mph, but there are a few spots where the train walks by at 10mph due to some slow orders. The two SD402s have no trouble keeping the 58 car train rolling at track speed, all the while rolling on classic jointed rail.

The line is former Milwaukee Road, and lots of the Milwaukee's heritage is still visible along the way. Boscobel even has a former Milwaukee Road caboose restored outside of the depot. This is a neat route that doesn't typically see this type of traffic during day either, so this was also a rare catch to say the least.
