WNCI 97.9 Columbus,OH was one of my favorite radio stations when I was in high schoolmainly because they played songs I didn't hear anywhere else. Fortunately, I recorded about 45 minutes of it with static, fading (I was 110 miles away in Cincinnati). 3.75 IPS tape quality, DJ's talking, local commercialseverything. Pay attention near the start of the clip where they are encouraging you to ask for an FM radio when you buy your new car! It's 2014 and I finally got around to seeing what was on those tapes I had stored in the garage. This was one of the highlights. Hope someone else remembers what WNCI was like in 1970 ! Great memories for me.
