Sadly this is not the first conversation we’ve had with a woman about her baby. Sometimes people see us with our African kids and think we will take theirs back to America and give them a “good life”. I’ve talked to many adoptive families that have had similar conversations living in country. I don’t know what caused this particular woman to want to sell us her baby, but no judgment towards her. The other women knew what she was saying was inappropriate and tried to stop her. We have to show love and educate about the adoption process when we can❤

We've been living in Nigeria since June 1, 2021 while we complete the adoption for our daughter Eden.
