Hi. This is a series of videos that focus on ways to improve your performance on the Wonderlic test. This video will focus on logic questions. On Wonderic logic questions you'll receive two statements which are considered true and will be asked to determine if a given conclusion is either true false or uncertain. When it comes to doing these questions quickly and correctly we recommend using the following steps:
Identify the question type. We can divide logic questions into
three categories: Relativity, relationships and groups. Once we've
identified what type of question we're dealing with, we can move on to the next step. Logic questions based on relativity. When presented with a logic question based on relativity, order the objects based on the information you're given. The conclusion can agree with or contradict the information. Regardless it's likely the answer will be in front of you. If the information does not allow you to create a distinct visual image, that means the conclusion is uncertain.
Logic questions based on relationships. In a logic question based on relationships, try to determine the relationship between the three parties. At this point, we can see that we don't
know anything about the relationship between Sarah and Danny. That means the answer would be uncertain.
Logic questions based on groups.
In this type of question, we can use the following method. Spot the largest group and draw it as a long rectangle. Then spot the smaller groups and draw them as part of the Greater group. Now you can decide if the third statement is true or false. Again if you find it difficult to create a distinct visual image, the answer is uncertain.
