Wood rats or pack rats are any species in the North and Central American rodent genus Neotoma. In order to build their nests, wood rats will collect everything in the surrounding area of their home, including man made objects. For our wood rat, Clover, we make sure she gets plenty of objects to explore and add to her nest.
