In todays video, I took off to a lovely little secluded camp spot in the heart of Staffordshire. My aim was to test out the Pomoly Dome x4 2.0 Hot tent and Baker Stove with a water tank as well as a few other bits and pieces. It's my first attempt at hot tent camping, and it didn't come without its fails and a steep learning curve.
I have camped all my life in various tents of shapes and sizes, but never one that included a fireproof ground sheet and wood burner stove!
Today was the day! Luckily, I was able to park fairly close to my chosen pitch, and although the ground was pretty soggy from recent downpours, it remained dry for me while i pitched up.
I hope you enjoy testing out this new tent with me, and at the end, I give my thoughts and a few points to consider before you go on your own hot tent camping adventures.
Disclaimer: Do as I say not as I do and make safety your priority...I was very naïve in my preparation, which led me to burn my fingers LITERALLY!
In my opinion, it's an awesome tent, stove, and concept, and I am looking forward to many a cosy, warm winters night camping.
