Whenever you practice, work at your edge. Find the perfect challenge between boredom and anxiety.

If it's too easy you're bored.

So you could make it more challenging by increasing the speed with a metronome.

Or you could add some other challenge, like playing with your eyes closed
or adding a rhythmic variation.

If what you're practicing is way too hard, then you get discouraged And want to stop.

In that case we make it a little easier. Either practice a smaller Chunk or slow down the tempo.

Continuously adjust the level of challenge so that you practice in the Goldilocks zone. Then you'll get results on a daily basis.
