Digital 8 camcorders can be a useful way to digitise analogue Video8 and Hi8 tapes straight to DV files via Firewire. This is part 1 of 2 where we work through five camcorders with various faults, to see what we can fix. Faults include Dew Error C:21:00, loss of picture and mechanical problems.
