WORLD HERITAGE SITE Forth Rail Bridge North Queensferry + Painting Seashells In Watercolour - Ep28

Follow
She Walks She Paints

Hello & welcome along on this walk! If you're new here my name is Sarah and each week I head out on a walk with my faithful companion Jack Spaniels, to explore somewhere in this beautiful country of Scotland and hopefully find something to paint back in my studio at home.

Today we are visiting a UNESCO World Heritage Site one of only six in Scotland. Other examples worldwide are the Taj Mahal in India and the Great Wall of China.

After discovering the industrial past of this coastal village, we walk through a local nature reserve to find one of Jack's favourite things the beach! Here I finds some beautiful and fragile tiny scallop shells to photograph & paint.

I've never painted seashells before, so I was little nervous about trying this. Watch to the end to see how they turned out!

If you enjoyed this video and you haven't already, please check out my other videos including the three special Skye episodes, where we explore some incredible Scottish scenery. Join me again next week as we explore somewhere else in Scotland and look for painting inspiration...
