World Youth Skills Day, observed annually on 15th July, highlights the importance of youth skills development to address the challenges of unemployment and underemployment. Designated by the UN General Assembly in 2014, it was first celebrated in 2015. The initiative focuses on fostering innovation, productivity, and social inclusion, bridging education and employment gaps. The theme for 2024 is “Youth Skills for Peace and Development.”
