This is the world's longest commercial flight: 9,000 nautical miles long and 19 hours taking people from Singapore to New York (Newark). Singapore Airlines only had 5 of the extremely rare A340500 aircraft. This flight was first discontinued sometime in November 2013 and the A340500 aircraft sold to Airbus. It has since restarted using the very capable Airbus A350900ULR, operating to both Newark and New York JFK.
