This flight has always been on my bucket list for being such a strange flight. I couldn't figure out why there had to be a nonstop flight from a tiny island in the middle of the Atlantic to one of California's smallest international airports in Oakland. While I got some more clarity as to why it operates, I still am puzzled as to why it only operates 812 times per year. That has made it hard for me to figure out the schedule and actually get on board one of them.
