In this video I visit Chesapeake Light Craft the leading supplier of wooden boat building plans and wooden boat building kits to learn more about what is involved with building wood boats from kits. They specialize in supplying wooden boat kits for beginners.

These small wood boats look amazing and are relatively easily assembled for first time boat builders from plans or complete boat kits at home, or built during weeklong workshops. These wooden boats are then sealed in epoxy resin and fiberglass to protect and strengthen the wooden structure making a very sturdy and lightweight composite boat!
