Ok I swear I didn't manifest Mike Ybarra saying this about tipping games...it's just a coincidence.
Mike Ybarra recently suggested tipping for exceptional games.
A few weeks earlier out of frustration, I suggested the same thing. With one HUGE caveat: it has to get rid of microtransactions.
Neither are good solutions, but I'm curious, what do you all think would be a good way to ensure games make enough money for the developers who make them, while also not preying on the wallets of the people who play them?
