Wound care center New Haven CT at Milford Vascular Institute helped patient Tom improve the circulation in his legs, and helped heal his nonhealing wound.

Tom was suffering from venous insufficiency, which was severely affecting the circulation through his legs.

He eventually developed a venous leg ulcer that was not healing, and was referred to the vascular specialists at Milford Vascular Institute.

To help improve the circulation through his legs, he had venous insufficiency treatment which included radiofrequency ablation, and foam sclerotherapy injections.

He also had extensive wound care to prevent his leg ulcer from getting worse, and to help it start to heal.

The wound care specialists at MVI treated Tom's leg ulcer with medicated dressings, compression, skin grafts, and negative pressure treatments using a wound VAC.

Circulation through Tom's leg is healthy again, and his leg ulcer has healed beautifully.
