On Saturday the 25th of March we follow Ww 644 on its first mainline run as far as Hamilton since its relocation run to the GVR 53 years ago. We start at sunrise as Ww 644 is prepared at Pukeoware we then follow the 108yearold Locomotive and its consist down to Hamilton and return.

The consist was made up of Ww 644, UC 686, DBR 1254, 4 Aa wooden coaches, and AG 49.
