On the 25th of March 2023, the Glenbrook Vintage Railway's steam locomotive Ww644 led a mainline excursion for the first time in 53 years. The excursion went from Glenbrook to Hamilton and return, and was for GVR and RES members as a celebration of 644's return to steam.
