Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort | This was my family and I's second time in Puerto Rico and first time in Rio Grande. The Rio Grande is about 35 minutes from San Juan International Airport. This is a short video of my trip to this golf resort. The Wyndham Grand Rio Mar was rated #2 golf resort in the area behind Bahia and it was priced reasonable. I didn't realize how packed the resort was going to be. I wanted to avoid the huge numbers of people going to the resorts in San Juan, thats why I chose the rio grande area. The main pool area with the slide was busy but we didn't have a hard time finding a chair at the pool. The beach always had chairs. If you do go here for a vacation, the food was pleasant. It was better than an all inclusive and since PR is the US, most of the food tasted a lot like the US. I had about 3 burgers during my stay and the pizza tasted a lot like NY pizza. I do recommend you bring some bug spray because I was bit about 14 times on my arms and legs. It's been 4 days since we left and they still itch which sucks.
