This video shows you how to disassemble the XBox Series X (Project Scarlett), e.g. for an SSD exchange, repair, cleaning etc. Here we take apart all the components including the mainboard with an insight into the most important board components (APU [ CPU + GPU ], Ram, BluRay drive, hard drive, power supply, fan etc.). There is also assistance in removing the guarantee seal without leaving any residue. This tutorial is intended primarily to provide assistance for any necessary repair or cleaning. For replacing, repairing or cleaning certain components, the device must be opened. This will void the warranty. Please ensure that you have the right tools available to avoid damaging the console when opening. All opening tools used in this video are not binding and can be possibly replaced by other types (eg. different screwdrivers). Before opening please ensure that your tools are suitable to teardown the console. The reassembly can be watched at the end of this video in fast motion.

Required opening tool:

► Torx T8 (no Security Torx required)
► Philips screwdriver PH1 (for drive mechanics when replacing the laser)
► Philips screwdriver PH00 (for drive mechanics when replacing the laser)
► Mobile phone / smartphone opening tool

► Thermal paste (Arctic MX4 recommended)
► ESD gloves (optional)
