The XK A800 remote control motor glider is an excellent trainer plane when the 6G stabilization is on. It handles windy conditions with confidence.

There is however, a different story to tell when the stabilization is off. New flyers to this hobby may be unpleasantly surprised and caught off guard when they first try to fly in 3G mode. (ie: stabilization turned off).

I've put quite a few battery packs thru this plane over the past month and I'm happy to report its reliability has held up and stood the test of time, for now.

The only problem with the plane is the 'dead zone' travel movement with the transmitter sticks when you try to apply elevator, aileron, or rudder in 3G mode. If you're new to the hobby and learning to fly, you already overcompensate as you get used to the plane controls. The 'dead zone' with this model makes it a little more difficult than it should be when you're learning to fly. So, as a friendly heads up from one modeler to another be wary of this when you switch out of stabilization mode.
