Hello, this is Jangnamcook!
The rainy season has came to an end and a huge heat wave has arrived!
So I've brought you a spicy noodle recipe that will blow the heat away.
Enjoy delicious spicy noodles this weekend!

[ingredient 2 servings based]
Thin noodles 200g (If it's 500Won coin size, then that's 100g)
Half a cup of aged kimchi
Half a cucumber

[Sauce]
A tablespoon of red chili paste
2 tablespoons of fine red pepper powder
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
A tablespoons of minced garlic
A tablespoon of sugar
2 tablespoons of plum extract

[Afterseasoning]
Generous amount of sesame oil or perilla oil
Generous amount of sesame seeds


Key point
1. Don't put too much seasoning or sugar. It will significantly reduce the refreshing taste~!
2. You don't have to put cold water three times when boiling noodles!
3. When boiling noodles, add salt and vinegar. The noodles' texture become like chewy noodles (jjolmyeon)!
4. Rinse the noodles in iced water just before mixing them in the sauce. It will maximize the texture.
