On Monday afternoon, Judge Ural Glanville made a decision to release the full details of the exparte meeting that was held in his chambers last month. The meeting involved prosecutors, their star witness Kenneth "Lil Woody" Copeland, and his attorney. Young Thug's attorney Brian Steel was held in contempt and ordered to jail after he demanded information about the meeting.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
