An ideal customer avatar is a profile example of the ideal client to whom you wish to sell. So, who is your ideal customer?

When you started your business, you put a lot of work into attracting customers that were ideal for your products. You took time to find out who they were, what they were about, what their needs were, and how you could best provide solutions and add value to them.

Well done to you for doing that work!

But consider this, time has passed, and with it, the world has changed. You have changed as well, and so has your business.

It’s time to do a fresh makeover on your client avatar.
Are you still targeting the ideal customer?
Who have your best clients been since you started, and what did they buy from you?
What value did they draw from your products?

Ask yourself which parts of your product offering align with your ideal customer avatar. Could there be a disconnect?

Doing a makeover on your ideal customer avatar will assist you with attracting customers and preventing your business strategy from getting stale.
