Youser의 25SS collectio을 채우는 상상력의 원천은 현실을 구성하는 3D, 가상의 세계를 구현하는 2D(컴퓨터 화면) 이 2개의 차원에서 출발한다.
“의복을 이루는 모든 구성 요소는 마치 회화의 표현 기법처럼 작용한다.”

곡선과 직선의 조화를 이루는 입체 패턴으로 평면과 볼륨의 공존이며 공간(3차원)이 형성된 의복의 앞, 뒤, 좌, 우 각각의 사면은 2차원의 화폭이 되어 바탕을 이룬다. 화폭의 바탕인 소재는 곧 채색이자 질감이다.

절개와 스티치는 ‘선’으로 표현되어 ‘면’의 역할을, 주름과 턱은 명암의 역할을 대체하여 입체가 되고 평면의 포켓, 자수는 의복의 입체 공간을 그대로 눌러 다시 2차원의 형태로 변환하려는 작은 시도이다.

The inspiration behind Youser’s 25SS collection is drawn from two dimensions: ‘3D, which forms reality,’ and ‘2D, which creates the virtual world.’

“Every element of clothing functions like a painting technique.”

The harmony between curves and straight lines results in a threedimensional pattern, reflecting the coexistence of flat and volumetric forms. Each side of the garment—front, back, left, and right—serves as a twodimensional canvas, forming the base of the design. The material acts as the canvas's base, representing both color and texture.

Seams and stitches are depicted as ‘lines’ that perform the role of ‘surfaces,’ while pleats and tucks replace shading and highlights, adding depth. Flat elements like pockets and embroidery attempt to press the garment’s threedimensional space back into a twodimensional form.
