On this occasion we traveled to the past, more precisely to the month of July 2015, where we made our first long trip (more than 1600 km) within the country, an adventure that was recorded on fire.

At university we had heard a lot of talk about the famous “cloud forest” or, more technically, the YUNGAS ecoregion. We knew that it was the second most biodiverse place in Argentina and that it had many peculiarities and we were eager to see this hidden place.

We were not really disappointed in the least. Being inside the Calilegua National Park, located in the southeast of the Jujuy province, was one of the most impressive experiences we could have in our lives.

Cost to adapt to the environment and perhaps that is why the above mentioned could not be reflected in the number of records. But this did not stop us from enjoying every encounter we had in the beautiful Yungas cloud forest.
