As an exporter of airtoground closerange strike firepower, the Z21 heavyduty armed helicopter carries various types and large quantities of ammunition. In areas where the opponent's air countermeasures capabilities are limited, it can provide accompanying support from the air over long distances and for a long time. Ground strikes provide powerful fire support for our own ground troops. In possible future conflicts, China is in urgent need of a large number of heavy armed helicopters, the most important of which is in the direction of the Taiwan Strait. The Z21 makes up for the shortcomings of China's heavy armed helicopters. At the same time, as drone clusters are widely used on the battlefield, seizing lowaltitude control has become the "ticket" for ground combat forces to enter the future battlefield, and it is also the "protective umbrella" for conducting ground combat operations. Z21 will focus on the development of informatization, networking, intelligence and other aspects to build a lowaltitude/ultralowaltitude strike system for the People's Liberation Army.
