Zaharoff Signature Pour Homme Review + Brass u0026 Soul First Impression

Zaharoff Signature Pour Homme is one of the highly hyped fragrances in the last few years. Does it deserve the spotlight?

In my opinion, the fragrance is a great one and holds true to its promise of delivering a natural smell through high quality ingredients. HOWEVER, it's not for everyone in my opinion, mainly because the scent profile turns out to be a bit more exotic than you might expect, due to the combination of sharp lavender, cypress, myrrh and oud, and vanilla that together create a creamy and sweet yet slightly bitter herbal scent that lacks balance slightly from the lack of citruses or other acidity. To me it falls more in the realm of mysterious and intriguing scents rather than a signature scent, and when seen from that perspective, it does a great job.

Brass & Soul is awesome and I might prefer it over Signature Pour Homme. It has one of my favorite openings because of a unique balance of zesty fruit, effervescence with a gin accord, a slight aquatic feel, and most importantly, a base of rugged abrasiveness reminiscent of leather. Great great scent!
