In September of 2023, The United States Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants had the honor of sharing the stage with Colonel Maksym Husak, the Director and Conductor of the National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine, tenor soloist Mr. Serhii Hurets, and pianist Mr. Pavlo Gintov.

The concert aimed to acknowledge the resilience and heroism of the Ukrainian people, reaffirm the United States’ unwavering support, and demonstrate, through the power of music, the great potential for interoperability between our nation’s militaries.

Derived from a traditional folk melody, The Zaporizhian March has evolved into a symbol of Ukrainian identity and is intricately woven into Ukrainian culture, serving as a symbol of national pride.
