Zaragoza, a Spanish city in the Aragón region, was one of the most rewarding experiences I had in these years living in Europe. Located in the northeast of the country, halfway between Madrid and Barcelona, the city has more than two thousand years of history, founded as a Roman colony by Cesar Augusto.

In addition to the historical aspects of great value, as the city was also dominated by Muslims and later taken over by Christians, Zaragoza has an excellent urban plan and excellent public transport coverage, which provides a high quality of life for its citizens.

During the days I was in the city, I tried to observe the details of local daily life, in this city always supported by the magnificent Ebro River, the largest in the country, which I enjoyed every day of my journey, walking and contemplating its banks.

In the same region, one of the most powerful crowns in Europe emerged, with vast territorial expansion, for example in southern Italy. Despite this domineering past, the city has a moderate and discreet profile where cultural mixes have always been an important equalizing point.

But make no mistake, the city is "potent" and has one of the highest quality of life in Spain and is visited by attentive and dedicated tourists to discover and enjoy the best the city has to offer.
