Today lets talk about probably the worst take I've ever seen in my life, the idea that Legend of Zelda has always had a poor story. This is in some vein attempt to defend Tears of the Kingdom and by extension Breath of the Wild (BotW), by proposing that TotK's story being bad shouldn't be singled out since Zelda has never been about the story. This is of course, total nonsense. The Zelda series has a long and storied history of excellent narratives, and today we are going to talk about five games in particular. Ocarina of Time (OoT), Majora's Mask (MM), Twilight Princess (TP), Link's Awakening (LA) and Skyward Sword (SS). All these games have wonder stories, and we are going to talk about why.
