Peoria, IL (18.6% of foreclosures are vacant), Wichita, KS (8.4%), Cedar Rapids, IA (8.3%), Shreveport, LA (8.3%), and St. Louis, MO (7.8%) have the highest zombie foreclosure rates. Among the 35.1 million investorowned homes in the U.S., 905,600 (2.6%) are vacant. Indiana (5.5%), Oklahoma (4.5%), Alabama (4.3%), Missouri (4.3%), and Kansas (4.1%) lead in vacant investorowned homes.
