Since we were forced off the Appalachian Trail in March due to COVID19, we have decided to upgrade a lot of our gear. Our previous tent (Kelty TN2) has been our goto for the past 4 years when we go camping, but have now realised that it was just too heavy for a thruhike.

After plenty of research on tents that would be best suited for us on long hikes, we decided on the ZPacks Triplex. In this video we will discuss why we changed tents and what we like and dislike so far about the Ultralight ZPacks tent.

We may also mention what hikes we have planned in the near future too...

We’re Scott & Lauren, a couple from Melbourne in Australia!

Our passion for travelling, backpacking and hiking started back in July of 2017 when we headed off to Europe for a 6month backpacking trip, which would ultimately change our lives. After returning in January 2018, the "standard" posttravel emotions hit.

We both decided we would knuckle down and try and save as much money as possible before jetting off again to see more of this beautiful world.
